Montero 97 antenna is stucked up and its making a loud noise.?

the motor in your antenna went out. the noise you here is the moter trying to do what it is suppose to do but something is wrong. new antenna motor for my 81 vette was about 80 bucks yours might be the same or a lil more since it is newer
