Im 23 weeks pregnant, i have a 2yr old boston terrier. I want a boxer puppy?

I really would like to get a boxer puppy. maybe its the hormones but i feel drawn to getting another dog once i quit my job in 2 months. My mom says no, and no i don't live with her but i respect and listen to her. My fiance says no more dogs! plus i don't really know if its the right thing to do. i feel like it will be to trying taking care of a newborn, a puppy, and Gizmo. Has anyone out there successfully got a new puppy a couple months before the babys birth? Is there a way it can work out?
