Why does the US back Israel?

The Israelis use tactics similar to the Nazis, they defy all international laws regarding the occupation and illegal embargo against the 1.5 million prisoners in Gaza. The Far Right Wing Israeli govt has proven again and again that they have absolutely no intention of allowing a Palestinian state. So, why would the americans want to be united with these right wing nazi sacks of sh*t?
