Dressing up for a dance at school!?

we are having our annual "twin tolo" dance at school. this year's theme is SPORTS. meaning you have to match your date AND be dressed up as some type of athlete. i don't want to do the stereotypical baseball, football, soccer, but i will if i have to. and keep in mind it's a dance so i don't want to dress to warmly either. any ideas? thanks!
