Restoring a lost video ?

Ok so I have spent 6 months on this video and I was deleting some old videos and it got deleted. I also deleted the stuff from the garbage bin. I restored the video and put it on my editing program. It appears as a file folder and when I click on it, it says sjb and settings and crap like that. How do I get my frigging video? Please help
