How fast do striped Raphael catfish grow?

Striped Raphael Catfish are carnivores with huge appetites. They get about 9 inches long, and it would not be unusual for them to reach this length in a year if well fed. You can figure they grow 1/2 an inch a month until they are full grown. There is also some indication that if you you keep them in a smaller tank, they will be somewhat stunted. (Be careful with them, they have side spines which are very sharp and will rip nets!).
